Learn About the Wristband and Controllers

How the Wristband And Controllers Work

The Sanibit wristband and controllers work together to improve your hygiene performance throughout the day. Here's how they work:

  1. The wristband communicates with controllers to detect when you're entering or exiting a room.

  2. The controllers detect that you've dispensed alcohol solution or soap. After dispensing solution or soap, the wristband will time the duration of your hand hygiene.

  3. The wristband and controllers work together to report that duration to the Sanibit App. This can take up to 15 minutes.

What is my wristband trying to say?

Vibration

If at any point you enter or exit a room without performing hand hygiene, a vibration alert will sound.

If your wristband vibrates, you still have a chance to perform hand hygiene and have it count towards your compliance goal! Just make sure that this hand hygiene occurs within the required hand hygiene window.

Green Light

Your wristband's light turns green to signify a full-compliance handwash.

If your wristband's light turned green, and you are in a hand hygiene opportunity window, you will be awarded with a Full Compliance hand hygiene!
