How to Wash Your Hands (Compliance)

Sanibit and Hand Hygiene

Sanibit can reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections by improving your hand hygiene. The Sanibit wristband and controllers work together to keep track of how long hands are washed while entering or exiting a room. Then, the Sanibit App puts data at your fingertips to drive targeted insights and accountability.

But what does good hand hygiene look like?

Steps for Hand Hygiene

When you enter or exit a room, Sanibit will check to see if you're performing hand hygiene for the correct amount of time, and with the correct motions.

If you perform hand hygiene for the correct amount of time, and with the correct motions, this is called full hand hygiene compliance.

You are expected to have full hand hygiene compliance at every hand hygiene opportunity.
